Founded in 1894 as the fourth Methodist church in Singapore, this Little India congregation first held services in Baba Malay for Straits-born Chinese, or Peranakan, worshippers. Its building at 1 Kampong Kapor Road, home since 1930, gained conservation status in 1989.
