Muslim personnel from the nearby Tengah Air Base built this mosque off Jalan Ibadat, Choa Chu Kang, in 1962. It ranks among the last rural mosques in Singapore, together with Masjid Omar Salmah and Masjid Petempatan Melayu Sembawang.
