Kampong Glam, Kampung Gelam in Malay, is the Malay-Muslim quarter of Singapore, north of the Singapore River in the Rochor planning area. At its centre are the Malay Heritage Centre and Istana Kampong Gelam, with the Sultan Mosque less than 200 m away and the Hajjah Fatimah Mosque and Masjid Malabar within 450 m. Golden Mile Food Centre is the nearest hawker centre, 350 m away. The closest stations are Nicoll Highway on the Circle Line, 380 m, and Bugis on the East-West and Downtown lines, 530 m.
